Imagine internet is water

We supply a water pipe to your house from the street.

Imagine a ½” pipe (Extreme Package;32mbit connection), or a 1” pipe (Executive Package; 64mbit connection) or a 2” pipe (Enterprise Package;128mbit connection). When you turn on a sink in your house water will stream in. Well, when you turn on another sink (or have someone taking a shower, running the washing machine, watering the yard, etc.) the water pressure will go down. This means you might need a larger pipe (or in the case of internet, a larger connection) to keep water pressure sufficient at all your faucets (or internet using devices.) You need to ensure you have a large enough pipe supplying the water to your household.

At Rio Cities, we don’t care how much water (data) you use, you just need to make sure the pipe coming in is large enough to support the number of users you have. This is just a simple analogy we feel might help you to understand the need for a larger connection package. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding your need for internet.
